Welcome to another New Business

Hinckley continues to attract some fantastic new businesses! A very welcome recent arrival is:
- Understated Coffee Shop - 6 Castle Street - OPENING SOON!
As the name suggests, this space is all about the 'understated', but with a special twist. All will revealed next month as Understated will soon announce an official opening date.
There is also a lovely area above the coffee shop which will be available to rent for business and private events, workshops or co-working. Watch this space!

Loyalty Card £50 Prize Draw Winner

Congratulations this month go to Alison Nicholas of Hinckley, holder of BID Loyalty Card number 9395.
Our card is accepted at shops and businesses in the town centre where you see the above sign displayed. Currently, over 50 businesses are making an offer. You will be able to take a look at a complete list of the offers here, by selecting the 'Loyalty Card' tab.

All card holders are entered in our monthly prize draw for a £50 gift voucher from a town centre BID business of their choosing.

Hear4U Celebrates 30 Years
|
Hear4U, a family-run audiology clinic, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
Established in 1994 by Samantha Bennett, Hear4U began its operations from her family home locally, providing both office consultations and home visits to serve the community's hearing care needs.
It is great to see excellent local companies survive and thrive! We wish Hear4U continued success in the years ahead.

Emmaus Emporium
|
Due to popular demand, the Emmaus Emporium on Stockwell Head has introduced a late opening on Thursday evenings until 7.00pm - shopping only.
Delivery and collection of stock will continue to operate during the normal daily hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Emmaus carry a wide range of furniture, household items, as well as footwear and clothing.
Make sure to drop by soon for a browse!

HDPP Fundraiser for Argents Mead Plaque
|
We are pleased to share some information on behalf of the enthusiastic and hard-working local heritage group that is Hinckley District Past & Present (HDPP).
They are keen to highlight the name of Margery Payne.
This very generous lady donated the land we know today as Argents Mead to the town, to be used for recreation for all townspeople forever.
Margery died in 1946 and is buried in Hinckley cemetery. HDPP would very much like to mark her resting place with a plaque explaining who she was and her very generous gift to the town. This will inform future generations of how Argents Mead came to be.
HDPP kindly ask you to consider making a donation to their Margery Payne Fund.
Any amount would be most welcome to help pay for the plaque. The funding required is £800 and permission to erect has already been granted.
A second plaque will be erected within Argents Mead.
