Half Term Family Treasure Hunt
|
16th to 30th October 2023
|
We have welcomed some more new businesses to the town centre in recent weeks. To stay abreast of all the new arrivals and to hear about local events and special offers, make sure to follow us on Facebook and drop by our website Events page!
School half term is fast approaching and, with that in mind, we are delighted to host our Halloween themed Family Treasure Hunt around town once again. This is a great family fun event and a lovely opportunity to visit areas of the town you might not normally get to see. The trail can be completed using a paper entry form, or by using a smartphone and scanning the QR codes that will be displayed in key locations once the Treasure Hunt is up and running (16th October to 31st October).
There is a whopping £300 in prizes to be won, and everyone who completes the trail successfully will be entered in a prize draw! Winners will be able to choose a gift voucher from a town centre business of their choice, with the first prize winner receiving £100 and ten lucky runners-up each receiving £20.
Full details will be on our website soon (just click on the image above).

Hinckley & Rugby Building Society - Calling Young Savers
|
Hinckley & Rugby Building Society invites new savers, young and old!
However, the Society recently launched a fun and educational book called ‘How Roommates Became Savers’. The book aims to educate children on how Building Societies came to be, introducing them to the world of saving from an early age through the eyes of a group of woodland animals. The book will be free of charge for those opening a new Young Saver savings account or when making a deposit to an existing Hinckley & Rugby children’s savings account.
Please visit your local branch at 37 Castle Street for full details (corner of Church Walk), or click on the link below.
