DATE CHANGE! Hinckley BID's 11th Annual Motorshow - now on Sunday, 25th September 2022

Remembering Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1926 - 2022
|
As the scheduled date of our annual motorshow fell on the day before the State Funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II, the decision was taken at short notice, as a mark of respect, to postpone the event to the following week.
We are grateful to HBBC and LCC for supporting this decision and working with us to ensure that all the necessary plans could be put in place in such a short time frame.
We hope that you will be able to join us for our biggest event of the year - our 11th Annual Motorshow on Sunday, 25th September 2022 between 10.00am and 4.30pm in Hinckley town centre.

Motorshow REVISED DATE - Sunday, 25th September 2022

In its 11th year, our Hinckley BID Motorshow is a huge event on our annual calendar. Therefore, taking the decision to move the date back a week was difficult, but in view of the country being in a period of mourning for HM Queen Elizabeth II, we felt this was entirely appropriate.
Sunday, 25th September is the new date and there will be hundreds of vintage, classic and special interest vehicles on display and a real festival atmosphere throughout.
This is a very 'family friendly' event which is FREE to attend and will also have some children's entertainment laid on, alongside a live band in Market Place and music playing in Argents Mead.
For those who know and love the show, we look forward to welcoming you back. For anyone who is attending for the first time, you will not be disappointed!
Please spread the word to friends and family and we would be especially grateful if you could mention the date change too, just in case we haven't managed to alert everyone to that through our own extensive efforts.
Our apologies to any exhibitors who had registered for the original date and are now unable to join us. We hope to see you back next year.

Store Vouchers to be Won during Motorshow

Jaspers of Hinckely will be celebrating the Hinckley BID Motorshow (Sunday, 25th September 2022) in ultimate style! They are always looking for ways to treat their customers, so how's this?
On the day of the show, they are offering visitors a free chance of winning £100's of pounds worth of vouchers to be spent in the store. These will range in value from £10 up to a grand jackpot of £200!

This informal event is being hosted by HBBC and will offer FREE friendly advice and help with household budgeting, managing debt, energy and fuel bills, housing costs, benefits and more.

You will have an opportunity to speak to experts who can offer a wide range of support and advice. There will also be health and wellbeing assistance, cooking demos (on a budget) and activities for children.

Time to Volunteer? Visit the new HBBC VCS Hub

Atkins Building Reception - Tuesdays 9.30am to 12.30pm
|
Our friends at RCC, the Rural Communities Council, who organise the Voluntary & Community Sector provision on behalf of HBBC have asked us to share details of their new 'drop-in' hub.
It will be operating at the Atkins Building, in the Reception area, every Tuesday between 9.30am to 12.30pm.
This will provide an opportunity for any member of the public to come along and have a chat about possible volunteering opportunities available in the Hinckley & Bosworth area and for groups looking for volunteers also.
They will be able to sign people up to the VCS Network to then receive funding updates and volunteering news.
