Too soon to talk Christmas?

Join our Shop Local Christmas Challenge
|
Our town centre shops and businesses are grateful for the continued support of local residents and visitors, week-in and week-out. As we approach the festive season, Hinckley BID is launching our 'Shop Local this Christmas' campaign. Our challenge, as you put your Christmas gift list together, is to earmark as many of those as possible to be sourced from local suppliers. Let's make a concerted effort to help local businesses grow and prosper, rather than boosting the profits of remote online retailers that don't contribute to our community. Keep your money where your heart is! There are over 400 businesses in our town centre, so you will not be short on choice. A gift voucher is always a great idea, so some options to consider are: fashion, homeware, jewellery, and specialist gifting retailers. Plus, of course, meals out, cinema or theatre shows, beauty or well-being experiences. What's not to like! Just some of the obvious benefits of shopping locally are: - Keeping money in our local economy
- Local businesses offer personal service
- It helps to maintain the local character of our town
- It is better for the environment
Please get behind our 'Shop Local this Christmas' campaign.
