Hear4U, a family-run audiology clinic, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Established in 1994 by Samantha Bennett, Hear4U began its operations from her family home in Stoney Stanton, providing both office consultations and home visits to serve the community's hearing care needs.
Throughout the past thirty years, the company has undergone considerable growth. The original Hear4U clinic was later moved to a dedicated shop in Hinckley, laying the foundation for what would become a wider network of clinics. The expansion now encompasses additional locations in Leicester, Rothwell, and Newark on Trent, all offering services such as earwax removal, hearing assessments, and hearing aid fittings. As the organisation has grown, it has continued to engage with the community, hosting educational events to increase local residents' understanding of hearing health.
Samantha shares: “I wanted a hearing service that was at the heart of the community. It was important to me that we had solid ethics and values with excellent customer service and outcomes. That whenever there were hearing-related concerns within the community, Hear4U was the first port of call. This dedication is why I continue to fight so hard to maintain high standards across all our sites.”
She also expresses her deep pride in the recognition the clinic has received over the years: "It means a huge amount to me that we have this fabulous reputation, even earning the trust of our local hospitals and GPs as the go-to place for hearing care in the community."
This familial legacy is carried forward by Tyler Woolman, Samantha’s daughter, and a second-generation audiologist with over eight years in the field. As the Managing Director of Hear4U, Tyler is now in charge of its operational aspects, steering the company through its continued expansion and service provision.
“Reflecting on the past 30 years, we recognise our growth and the continued trust of the communities we serve,” comments Tyler. “Our commitment to providing quality hearing care remains our priority as we celebrate this milestone. The clinic’s history is not only a story of expansion but also one of sustained, community-focused service and generational heritage in the field of audiology.”
