“A heartfelt thank you to all our existing customers, and a warm and friendly welcome to our new customers. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!"

One of Hinckley’s newest additions - and one for the chocoholics - Cocoa Chemist opened its doors in October 2020, just months after the business launched at home. In-store, you can expect to find lovingly crafted and hand-tempered chocolate treats, including lollipops, bars and truffles. Customers can also enjoy range of mouth-watering delights, including hot chocolates on cold and frosty days.
Curiosity Boutique, 3 Regent Court
Describing their shop as “different and unique”, Curiosity Boutique is run by friends Andrea and Michelle and has been open for six years. Many items are handmade in England, including many by local independent artists, and they also offer customers spiritual readings, including chakra balancing.
The duo said: “We love bringing love, peace and light into Curiosity Boutique and help customers with their own spiritual journeys. We like to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We pride ourselves on being different and unique and providing customers with good old-fashioned customer service with a smile.”

The tearoom offers a range of delicious dishes, including breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas. All cakes are also made with love in the tearoom kitchen, along with the homemade soups, quiches and scrumptious scones. In the run-up to Christmas, there will also be festive afternoon teas, Christmas lunches and drinks including mulled wine, luxury hot chocolate and gingerbread and Biscoff lattes.
The sisters said: “We offer a warm welcome to all of our customers - and pride ourselves on serving delicious home cooked meals, using quality ingredients.”
LUXE Hair Beauty & Bridal, 9 Regent Court
Winner of Best Bridal Salon 2021 (and shortlisted for the 2022 awards), this glamorous destination was established in September 2020 and is perfect for all brides, brides-to-be and anyone in need of some serious pampering. The salon was launched after owners Laura and Leanne wanted a base for their brides to come and enjoy their trials in a beautiful setting.
As well as bridal hair and make-up, the salon offers a range of services including hairdressing, kids hair extension braids, brow and nail treatments, waxing, facials, spray tans and party make-up.
Laura and Leanne said: “We not only offer a place for our brides-to-be to come and have a pamper, with a glass or two of Prosecco, but we also offer hair services and most beauty treatments a salon can offer. We also have teeth whitening aesthetics from a medically-trained practitioner. The salon is a one-stop shop for any brides-to-be and clients.
