Popular Independent Travel Agent, Holiday Lounge, celebrated its 20th year anniversary in style by holding a Charity Ball at Hinckley Golf Club on the 15th June.
Having opened its doors in June 2004 with just two staff, the agency has steadily grown over the last two decades opening an additional three branches located in Lutterworth, Burbage and Birstall. The number of staff has increased significantly too, with 23 staff members now spread across the four locations.
The prestigious celebratory event included Tour Operators, Cruise Lines and over 150 of Holiday Lounge’s clients, where they were treated to a superb meal and entertainment from a live ABBA tribute band.
Always keen to raise money for good causes, Holiday Lounge introduced a fundraising element to the ball. Over the course of the evening, an incredible £10,000 was raised for two charities close to the company's heart – The Neo Natal Unit at Leicester Royal infirmary and The Albion Foundation.
Holiday Lounge said that, "As a company we are phenomenally proud to have reached twenty years in business and we are delighted to have the opportunity to celebrate in style with our preferred suppliers and some of our loyal clients."
Holiday Lounge appreciates the value of loyalty, both from its customer base and suppliers. They take great pride in their client retention rates, with many coming back year after year. This is only achieved through the dedication of Holiday Lounge staff, who regularly go above and beyond to offer the highest levels of service. The business management team say its staff are its greatest asset and they are very proud of the outstanding team they have managed to bring together.
During the evening several staff were presented with Long Service awards ranging from 14 to 20 years!
