Soapbox Derby - Sunday 30th June!

Our Hinckley BID Soapbox Derby returns this Sunday, 30th June!

Racing will begin promptly at 11.00am.

There are an incredible thirty-two teams lined up to battle it out for the fastest team on the day, and fastest individual driver, in both Senior and Junior categories.

If you've not experienced our Soapbox Derby racing on Castle Street before, then prepare to be amazed! The variety of fun and ingenious soapboxes come from across the Midlands and beyond. Some are seasoned Hinckley racers, but others will be navigating the Castle Street hill for the first time and will need to make the crucial decision about whether to attempt the jump obstacle or the chicane instead.

This year, for the first time, we have an exciting feature which allows spectators and teams to view the results live as racing takes place. Simply scan the QR code on the poster attached.

Soapbox Derby is a great day out for the family and is entirely FREE to spectators.
