With twenty entries this year, the competition was fierce, but Shirley and her team at 'Swagbox - The Gift Shop' put in mammoth effort and managed to create a truly spectacular Halloween window display. It was artistic, creative and a real show stopper all round. Well done Swagbox!!

That's not to say this wan't a close run race! All of the other nineteen entries were fantastic, being spooky, scary and eye-catching in equal measure.

However difficult it may be for our judges, we always ask them to shortlist a selection of entries which they believe stands out in terms of impact or injenuity. Each shortlisted entry receives a 'Highly Commended' certificate. There were six in total and our congratulations go to the following (photos shown below):

Thank you to all of the businesses who entered the competition, it really does make a visit to the town so much more exciting and enjoyable for all ages. Alongside our BID half term Halloween themed treasure hunt, it really is great fun.
