Calling all daredevils and soapbox racing enthusiasts. On a Sunday in July for the past 10 years, Castle Street in Hinckley has welcomed teams of incredible soapbox racers who battle it out for glory in time trials down the Castle Street hill. There are thrills and spills and a great festival atmosphere throughout the day. In 2019 we were even featured after the evening news on the BBC East Midlands Today programme.

Team entries are limited to a maximum of 40, so don't delay! We have some fabulous trophies for presentation to winners on the day in both 'senior' and 'junior' categories.
