Event Information
Our annual Festive Family Fun Run returns on Sunday 5th December!
Join us at 10.45am in Market Place for a warm-up by the town’s resident Healthy Elf. The (0.8mile) run/stroll will then take place at 11am and all age groups and abilities are welcome. There will be a ‘SWEET STOP’ at the top of Castle Street as an added incentive for the children!
As a festive event, festive dress or Christmas jumpers are encouraged and there will be neck medals awarded to everyone who sports a Yuletide theme. Well-behaved dogs on leads are also welcome, especially those in festive dress.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
£50 Gift Voucher - Best Individual Costume
£50 Gift Voucher - Best Family Group Costumes
£25 Gift Voucher - Runner-up Best Costume (Junior - 12 years and under)
£25 Gift Voucher - Runner-up Best Costume (Senior)
